Studio Art Teacher: Montgomery Bell Academy

Montgomery Bell Academy (MBA) seeks a full-time studio art teacher for the start of the 2026-27 school year. Ideal candidates will be able to teach a general studio art class to students from 7th to 12th grade and to be proficient in teaching a range of artistic skills, including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, pottery, and sculpture. MBA promotes a “teacher-coach” model in which full-time faculty members are also expected to extend their “teaching” beyond the four walls of the classroom into athletic and extracurricular activities depending on the interests of the faculty member and the needs of the school. Furthermore, all MBA faculty members are expected to guide the boys not only in the pursuit of academic excellence, but also in the importance of kindness, humility, inclusion, and honor as part of developing twenty-first century gentlemen.
