Grade 5 ELA Teacher: Ensworth School
Ensworth School seeks an exceptional Grade 5 English Language Arts teacher for the 2026-2027 school year who is passionate about building strong readers, writers, and thinkers within a rich, rigorous humanities program.

We are seeking a teacher who brings energy, expertise, and a commitment to best practices in literacy instruction.
The Grade 5 homeroom team consists of 6 teachers in departmentalized classrooms for Humanities and Math/Science. The ELA teacher teaches 2 classes of literacy and 2 of social studies, meeting throughout a 5-day rotating schedule.
Qualified candidates will have earned a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and have significant English/Literacy experience.
Close collaboration with colleagues is necessary and expected. In partnership with families, teachers work to understand, guide, challenge and nurture their students as the children learn to think creatively and work both cooperatively and independently.
