School Nurse: Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School
Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School is seeking an enthusiastic, mission-aligned Registered Nurse to serve as a full-time School Nurse for our community (ages 18 months through 8th grade) for the coming school year. This vital role oversees the general health and well-being of students, faculty, and staff by providing expert medical intervention, managing chronic care plans, and administering medications in compliance with Tennessee state guidelines. Beyond daily care, the nurse maintains comprehensive health records, coordinates essential screenings, and serves as a key consultant on infectious disease control and emergency preparedness. You will work closely with school leadership to ensure student safety during on-campus activities and overnight excursions, while also acting as a health advocate through staff in-service training in CPR, First Aid, and AED usage.
The ideal candidate possesses a current Tennessee RN license and a strong background in pediatric nursing or school health services. We are looking for a collaborative professional who can work independently, communicate effectively with parents and healthcare providers, and manage confidential information with the utmost integrity. Proficiency in digital record-keeping and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive, child-oriented attitude are essential. If you are dedicated to fostering a healthy educational environment and are capable of meeting the physical demands of a dynamic school setting, we encourage you to apply and join the GSL team.
