Elementary School Teacher: The Covenant School
The Covenant School seeks a joyful, engaging, and mission-driven Elementary Education Teacher to join our Christ-centered community. We are looking for an educator who delights in children and believes deeply in celebrating childhood — honoring the wonder, curiosity, imagination, and formative moments that define these foundational years.

Primary Responsibilities
Classroom Leadership & Culture

Establish a warm, structured classroom with clear routines and high expectations.

Build positive, respectful relationships with students while maintaining strong classroom management.

Uphold school policies and partner with families to support student growth.
Instruction & Student Learning

Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that activate curiosity and prior knowledge.

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Clearly communicate lesson goals and expectations for success.

Use instructional time effectively and incorporate appropriate technology.
Assessment & Growth

Provide clear feedback and regularly assess student understanding.

Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student progress.

Maintain accurate records of student performance.
Professionalism & Community

Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Collaborate positively with colleagues and participate in school-wide activities.

Engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
-
Demonstrated and articulated Christian faith aligned with a Presbyterian educational community.

Bachelor’s degree required; Elementary Education or related field preferred.

Classroom teaching experience preferred, ideally in an independent or faith-based school.

Eligible for ACSI certification.

Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
