Keynote Speaker
Keynote Speaker & Workshop Leader:
Marco Antonio Torres
Media Artist and California Teacher of the Year for Creative Curriculum

Educators, administrators and technology staff from independent schools throughout the state of Tennessee will gather for a day of professional development at Battle Ground Academy in Nashville in early April.  This day of workshops, keynote speakers and discussion will focus on technology integration in the educational setting.

As we educate our students to be global citizens in the 21st century, we must be sure they are technologically prepared as well as academically prepared.  Technology is a tool that helps to remove boundaries and make global learning easy and productive.  An exploration of the power of using multimedia and movie-making in the classroom to support and enhance both teaching and learning will be the focus of this worthwhile and meaningful event.
